(Admission to Class 6th 2027)

Ramakrishna Mission Vidyapith, Deoghar, Jharkhand, established in 1922 is affiliated to the Central Board of Secondary Education, Delhi. It is a purely residential English medium senior secondary school for boys.

Any guardian having faith in the educational ideas of Swami Vivekananda and the ideology of the Ramakrishna Mission may apply for his ward's admission to this school.

For admission to Class VI in the 2027–28 session:

• Student must be studying in Class V during the 2026–27 session.

• Age should be between 11 and 12 years as on 01 April 2027.

• Date of Birth should fall between 01 April 2015 and 31 March 2016.

First Phase – Written Test

• The written test will be conducted at examination centres in Asansol, Chapra, Deoghar, Imphal, Kolkata, Ranchi, and Siliguri.

• Total duration of the test will be 3 hours (including seating and checking formalities).

Written Test Pattern & Subject:

• Mathematics & IQ; 40 Marks, 45 mins

• Basic Science 20 Marks 25 mins

• English 25 Marks 30 mins

• Vernacular (Hindi/Bengali) 15 Marks 20 mins

• Total 100 marks in 120 mins

Second & Final Phase

• Candidates qualifying the written test will appear for a Viva-Voce Test (including a short written test) at Ramakrishna Mission Vidyapith, Deoghar, on a notified date.

• Selection is based on academic performance along with the promotion of cultural harmony and national integration.
